It's A Big, Big House...

Hello, once again, to one and all. I guess this post won't be all that long, but I figured I should at least report on a great milestone - mom and dad bought a new house last night. As a result, the house I grew up in for almost twenty years I will never set foot in ever again.

Getting the news last night was very surreal. I knew Mom and Dad were looking for a new place, but they've only been looking for less than a week. The new house is twice the size of the old house and is apparently very, very nice.

Though it feels like a part of my life is now officially coming to a close, I have to realize that the house is just that - a house. It's only property. As cheesy as it may sound, it's not the dirt, foundation, and wood that made the memories. What made the memories was my family and the friends that I have made over the years. So though it's odd to go home in December and not going to Hollister Place, I should remember that I'll still be with the people that made all the memories great.

Right now, I'm watching the Texas/Oklahoma game and it's getting pretty exciting. May you all enjoy the beautiful weekend and I'll write to you again soon.
